COTRAN PVDF175 tube is transparent, thin wall PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) heat shrink tube designed for electronic, automotive and military applications requiring protection and see-through inspection in aggressive environments.

To provide oil resistance, void filling and sealing for oil-immersed cable termination and joints for heat shrink technology up to 36kV.
COTRAN spacer tape is extruded into two crossed threads that can then divert liquids, leading to its wide usage for casting resin joints in different applications, such as Low- and Medium Voltage, Cable Accessories and 2-component epoxy or PUR Cast Resins. It is engineered to build up voids in odd shaped splices and assures full resin coverage and forms a liquid tight mold.
COTRAN cast resin joint kits are reliable jointing solutions for intermediate connectors of wires and cables. The shear bolt connectors are intended for stranded and solid aluminum and copper cable, low voltage and medium voltage up to 36 kV.
They comprise cable areas 10-400 mm² even bigger for sector cable. There is also a screw sleeve for branches up to a total of 100 mm². The joint with the conductor is achieved by the screws in the connector or terminal being tightened to a predetermined torque.

5. The joint has completely sealed structure with high mechanical strength and good sealing performance.

Joint protecting is made of insulating copper case with high-intensitive T2 copper, and the moulded high-density PE material of its external surface is used for insulation and anti-corrosion with good mechanical protection and permanent waterproof sealing performance, which ensure the joint to run safely and reliably in the long-term under harsh environment.In addition, it can equip glass fiber reinforced plastic protective box as a strengthen waterproof measure accordingly.
